PASSING THE BATON

 

We spiritual elders are passing the baton to this present generation. I call them the A3 Generation (A to the THIRD POWER). This generation is Aware, Activistic, and Awesome. This generation is the generation we have prayed and waited for since slavery. They are standing on the shoulders of our African ancestors, enslaved and free,  martyrs who did not bow down or break under the yoke of the Dark, Evil and inhumane institutions of Slavery, Jim Crow, Apartheid, and exploitative Racism.

They are the culmination of our sacrifices, struggles, sufferings, progress, and advances. They are grasping (the act of taking, holding or seizing firmly) the baton of our people and running the race to liberation, social and economic justice, and equality for all. They will realize the dream of our people that has been deferred far too long.
